I'm a five-time marketing leader. I've built go-to-market from the ground up, often as the whole growth team, across fintech, SaaS, cannabis biotech, nonprofit, and energy commodities.

Before Mobius, I led marketing at Phylos, Mirador Financial, and Mercy Corps' Micro Mentor program, and ran product marketing at Bazaarvoice. I started in public relations at Edelman in Beijing, and I've taught public relations, public speaking, and marketing at South University and Portland State University.

At Mobius Risk Group, an independent energy and commodity risk advisory and technology firm founded in 2002, I run growth across an 11-product platform serving 17 industry verticals. That means owning the pipeline, the marketing infrastructure behind it, and the client relationships after the deal closes.

Outside Mobius, I build companies. Margo Labs grew out of a simple belief: in the land of AI, your brand is the moat. The people I work with are skilled craftspeople turning real expertise into a business. Their marketing isn't complicated. It's just hard to do for yourself. Margo exists to close that gap.

What I believe
Brand is the moat in the land of AI.
  1. Marketing can be a force for good.Done well, it connects people who need something with the people best at making it.
  2. Measure what you spend time on.Find efficiencies in low-return work so there's room for the work that pays off.
  3. Build in public, on your own tools.Run the company on the software and let each one make the other better.
